But in reality, the challenge is much broader: how can we safeguard a wide range of game materials\u2014including digitally distributed games and indie titles that exist solely in digital form? Each type of resource demands a unique approach to preservation, further complicated by legal, technical, and cultural factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What exactly are these issues? And how might emerging technologies\u2014especially generative AI\u2014offer promising new pathways? This symposium gathers a diverse group of experts to discuss the perspectives and cutting-edge methods needed to protect and grow game culture.
