\u25a0\u6982\u8981 Summary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Text adventures (whose genre takes its name from the first game recognized as such, called Adventure) are games where the player faces a text that describes the environment, which can be explored and modified by typing instructions in a keyboard. Literally, the game responds to our commands to pick up objects, modify them or move around the game world. This type of game, while still being a video game by definition, is closer to narrative than pure entertainment. Video games can surprise the player with sound and moving pictures, but text adventures surprise with their story, with what they tell and how they tell it. This presentation is about the origin of text adventure games, with a particular focus on the Spanish case and the company Aventuras AD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
