This will be demonstrated on the Metal Gear franchise, which as well as its fans is currently going through a transitional process after the series’ creator Hideo Kojima parted ways with rightholder Konami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After briefly discussing the fundamental considerations of my research, I will move on to discuss its technological dimension. Using a rather simple examplary problem, I intend to elaborate on the possibilities of a Mixed Methods approach. Admittedly, the focus in this presentation is more on technologies. But I am confident that the discussion of an extensible toolchain that potentially can be used for a variety of applications will compensate for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This research was acquired within the diggr-project, which started in 2017 and is conducted in cooperation with University Library Leipzig.
